• About 2,150 posts advertised, 1,755 of them cadre posts.
• The health cadre carries the single largest share, at 650 posts.

The next circular hasn't been published yet. Here's what the commission has said about it so far.

• It isn't yet settled whether the next circular will be the regular 51st BCS or a separate special BCS being planned for around 5,000 physician posts. Whichever is published first takes the number.
• Total vacancies haven't been finalised yet — BPSC is waiting on the Ministry of Public Administration to send its cadre-wise list of vacant posts before it can publish the circular.
• If the circular does land in November as planned, the preliminary exam would likely follow around January or February 2027. The 50th BCS took about two months from circular to preliminary exam, and PSC has said it wants to keep that pace — but this isn't an official date yet.

• Re-check your age and academic eligibility against the rules in the most recent circular.
• Watch bpsc.gov.bd and bpsc.teletalk.com.bd directly rather than relying on secondhand posts.

Preliminary mark distribution

Eligibility, in short

• Bangladeshi citizenship.
• Usually 21 to 32 years old on the date the circular sets — check the current circular, since this window has shifted before.
• A bachelor's (honours) or master's degree from a recognised university; more than one third division or class in your academic record is normally disqualifying.

Applying, step by step

1. A circular appears on bpsc.gov.bd.
2. Apply online through bpsc.teletalk.com.bd before the deadline.
3. Pay the application fee by Teletalk mobile balance.
4. Download the admit card once it's issued.
5. Sit for preliminary, then written, then viva, in that order.
